Let yourself be inspired by Raseborg’s rich cultural life and take the opportunity to visit some of the city’s incredible exhibitions during your stay! Get acquainted with a list of Raseborg’s museums and exhibitions here.
Chappe
The art house by the sea, Chappe, has recently opened four new exhibitions that will remain open until March next year! The exhibition Wunderkammer: Silver Visions showcases fascinating photographs of Albert de la Chappelle’s extensive collection of antique silver. This collection reflects de la Chappelle’s personality and highlights his fondness for animal-themed objects, especially pigs.
Since 1970, Albert de la Chappelle began collecting Baroque silver, which forms the core of the exhibition Barock. This exhibition features the oldest items in his silver collection, primarily from the 17th century.
In addition to antique and Baroque silver, de la Chappelle also collected figures from pop culture. The playful and nostalgic exhibition Welcome to the Toy Box of Albert and Clara displays photographs of figurines, dolls, and stuffed animals, with several recognizable faces to spot!
The Nature & Destruction exhibition is a photo collection by artist duo Daniel & Geo Fuchs, created during their travels around the world. The photographs capture nature’s beauty and fragility, as well as its destructive force and the devastation caused by humans.

Fiskars Museum
At Fiskars Museum, visitors can explore the lives of the ironworks residents from the 1600s to the present day, immersing themselves in history through various living environments and activities. The exhibition showcases Fiskars’ production over the centuries, from Fiskars’ smallest scissors to the first gardening tools.
You can also visit the exhibition The Eternal Forest — a look at how the forest in and around Fiskars has changed over 375 years. On October 30 and November 30, there will be free guided tours offering insight into the exhibition! Starting November 30, enjoy the atmospheric themed exhibition Christmas at Hammarbacken, where you can learn how Christmas and New Year’s celebrations looked for workers and the gentry.
The permanent exhibition and The Eternal Forest are open Wednesday to Sunday from 11 am to 4 pm.

Galleries
The exhibition Still Moments 2 at Galleri Centrum runs from September 3 to November 29, where ceramic artist Jaea Chang focuses on contemporary ceramic art.
Luckan Raseborg’s children’s culture center presents the exhibition Färgbad at Galleri Promenade in Kulturhuset Fokus from October 8 to November 28. Färgbad opens up the child’s perspective through self-expression.
The exhibition at Galleri Perspektivet is a surprising and interdisciplinary collaboration by Risto Musta and Tanja Is, exploring the connection between humans and nature. The exhibition is open from November 4 to 27.
Tasty and Locally Produced
Did you know Raseborg is a real paradise for lovers of locally produced food? Our city is righteously
proud of our large number of fresh and unique local food products and the many skillful entrepreneurs behind them. For a foodie the best time to travel to Raseborg is undoubtedly autumn, when our markets are brimming with wonderful harvest products.
If the timetables of the local market events do not match with your schedule, you can always order products from the local REKO food groups of either Karis or Ekenäs . The order is made in beforehand on Facebook, and you can pick your purchase from the joint sharing event on Fridays. Handy, don’t you think? By this you will know whose products you are buying and where your money is going, while you simultaneously get to meet the producers!

Although the summer restaurants in Raseborg have already begun their winter slumber, there is still a rich selection of cozy restaurants and cafés ready to welcome you. Here, you can enjoy warming meals and relaxing moments, perfect after a day of exploring art and culture. Get acquainted with the restaurant offerings here.
